Watervliet Wrestling The Watervliet varsity wrestling team grappled in the Dunneback Tournament at Grand Rapids West Catholic on Saturday, Jan. 4, with one male and one female returning as medalists. During this individual tournament, a total of fourteen teams and 137 wrestlers (on the men’s side) and ten teams and 33 wrestlers (on the ladies side) battled for prestige and a deserved spot on the podium. Team scores were kept throughout the tournament, and when the final scores were computed the Panther men finished in ninth place while the Lady Panthers finished in seventh place.
