Well, pigskin fans, after twenty-two weeks of friendly, intense competition, featuring scores of high school, collegiate and professional football games, the conclusion of the 2024-2025 football season has encroached upon us. While sports fans, including readers of this column on a weekly basis, will be sad that the football season has flown by, our “gurus” are looking forward to their well-deserved break, allowing them to rest their minds and prepare for next season, if they so choose. But, before we officially pen the final chapter in this journey, the biggest game of the year – Super Bowl LIX – looms on Sunday, in New Orleans, as the Chiefs and Eagles battle it out with the Lombardi Trophy on the line. For our AQBs, however, they are hoping that their final pick sends them off into the sunset, on a high note!
