Scot A. Blatchford, formerly of Watervliet, Michigan, passed away on March 2, 2025, he was 62 years old.
Scot was born on Feb. 26, 1963 to Laurence and D. Jean Blatchford in Park Forest, Illinois. After graduating from Rich Central High School in 1981 he attended the University of Colorado where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
Scot was very proud of his work as a trim carpenter. He loved spending time at the family’s cottage on Paw Paw Lake, watching sports, listening to country music and spending time with his brother, sister, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Todd, and his nephew Clayton MacLagan.
He is survived by his brother Lane Blatchford (Kathy), his sister Allison MacLagan, and his nieces and nephews Kirk Blatchford (Olivia), Kent Blatchford (Sabrina), Kelsey Blatchford, Brooklynn MacLagan, Campbell MacLagan, and grand nephews Reece and Theo Blatchford.
The family will hold a celebration of life this summer at Paw Paw Lake.
