Robin Joy (Kliger, Jollay) Mileski passed away in her home on March 4, 2025, in Coloma, Michigan. She was surrounded by her loving family and gazing out at her beloved Paw Paw Lake.
Robin began her life on May 3, 1942 in Alexandria, Virginia before moving with her family to “The Island” on Paw Paw Lake. Thus began a lifelong love affair with the community in Coloma and surrounding area. Robin graduated from Coloma High School, going on to earn a nursing degree from Borgess School of Nursing. As the hundreds of patients that were cared for by Robin know, she truly lived her calling.
Above all, Robin was a mom. The love and care that she nurtured in her sons, Jon and Jay will always be remembered. The picnics in the orchards, school shopping excursions, sledding in the winter, and the full breakfast every day before the school bus arrived are the little things that are remembered and what made Mom extraordinary.
Robin devoted her life to family and friends. She is survived by her son and daughter, Jay and Sarah Jollay; six grandchildren, Jon, Jack, Claire, Ben, Sam and Michael; her sister, Leah (Phil) Sandifer; brother-in-law Terry Parcheta and nieces and nephews, Roger, Robyn, and Sean. In addition, she is survived by her loving friend Sherry Holland.
Robin had recently lost her sister Susan (Kliger) Parcheta.
Robin’s husband, Ed Mileski, passed three days after Robin, a testament to their love for one another and to begin one more adventure together.
A private family service has been held for Robin and a fitting party for Robin and Ed will occur in August. Online guestbook is available at www.duffieldpastrick.com.
