Courtney Van Lente, a senior at Watervliet High School and a member of the Lady Panther basketball team this winter, is the Tri-City Record Press Box Player of the Week for Feb. 20, 2025. Courtney was nominated by athletic director and basketball coach, John Guillean. He felt that she is deserving of this because, in his words, “She is a competitor who brings it night in and night out. She finds ways to positively affect the game, even when she is not scoring. She is extremely selfless and will do anything for the team to win.”
