At the Coloma Community Schools Board of Education meeting on Monday, March 10, 2025, Coloma Elementary Principal Kelly Jo Severins shared that CES students are involved in “March is Reading Month” activities focused on the book, Almost Super by Marion Jensen. The book is about each member of the Bailey family who mysteriously gets a super power on every leap year date of February 29. This week students will be celebrating “Wacky Wednesday” by building super heroes. The Coloma Public Library has installed a “story wall” along the walkway into the elementary school so students can read a book as they enter the building.
