Nancy Nemethy Wheeler, 78, of Bainbridge Twp. died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022 at the Willows Assisted Living in Royalton Township.
Services celebrating her life were held on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Cremation followed the service. Please share messages or memories at www.florin.net.
Nancy was born on July 4, 1943 in Benton Harbor to Alexander and Mary Nemethy. She married her husband, John F. Wheeler Jr., on Nov. 16, 1961 and together they have celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Nancy was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She was a member of the Calvary Bible Church. Nancy enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, crafting and baking for her friends and family. She especially loved reading to her grandchildren and being involved in their activities. Nancy was a soft spoken, kind and loving individual.
Her family includes her husband, John; her children, Matthew (Lisa) Wheeler of Coloma, Nathan (Connie) Wheeler of Titusville, FL, and John (Jessica) Wheeler III of Watervliet; her brother, Frank (Marilyn) Nemethy of Coloma; six grandchildren, Kerstin, Derek, Kegen, Marshall, Kennedy and Bruce and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Earl, Joseph, and Robert, and her sisters, Helen and Mary Ann.
