LOUISE JACOBS

Louise was born April 24, 1928 to William and Helen (Healy) Howley on the family farm. She spent her lifetime in Watervliet where she worked and raised her family. Louise worked for several years at Midwest Timers and ES Enterprises. Her greatest joy was doing things with family through gatherings, playing cards with her sisters, or attending her grand and great-grandchildren’s activities. Louise also enjoyed filling her time camping and baking.

Louise leaves behind a large loving family to cherish her memory including: her three children Mike Jacobs, Cathi Jacobs, and Bobby Jacobs; son-in-law Darrell Goodson; nine grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Louise died Monday, July 5, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Jacobs, two daughters Sharon Goodson and Gloria Jean Jacobs, and eight siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Watervliet.
