Linda was born Dec. 27, 1938 in Watervliet to Harry & Florence (Ibbotson) Hiler. She graduated from Eau Claire High School, Class of 1956, and on December 1, she married her high school sweetheart, Carl Frazee, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Watervliet. Linda devoted her life to her husband and family and raising her children while helping Carl on the family farm. Linda had a love for flower gardening which led her to, in 1992 opening her own business, Perennial Accents, at home. Her daughters joined her in the family business, which eventually moved to State Street in downtown St. Joseph, and they operated together for twenty-two years before retiring in 2018. In her free time, Linda enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and, most of all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On the farm, she was a tireless and productive laborer, in social settings, truly glamorous, at business, thoughtful and generous. To her family Linda was a harbor, a pillar, and a mainstay. The memories of her are precious, her influence ongoing, the expectation of reunion a fountain of hope. To her very last days her smile and quiet laugh were sources of cheer and encouragement. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Carl; her children, Vickie (Dan) Campbell of Coloma, Fred (Lynda) Frazee of Watervliet, Bruce (Denise) Frazee of Watervliet, Sheila (Bob) Banasik of Coloma; fifteen grandchildren, Heidi (Tim), Ashley, Erika (Tony), Isabel (Paul), Andrea (Jake), Olivia (Joe), Laura (Jack), David, Cara (Eric), Alissa (Steve), Anna (Jacob), Sarah (Frank), Brian, Vanessa (Daniel) and Grant; eighteen great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Nathan, Alex, Eleanor, Vivian, Charleigh, Edmund, Oliver, Wendy, Gwen, Roger, Clara, Elizabeth, Amelia, Brady, Mabel, Mason and Spencer; her sister Rosalie Miller of Watervliet; her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Mary Jane, Patsy, Jim (Ann), Shirley (Jon), Mike, Mark (Julie), Dennis (Karen); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Melvin & Jerry Hiler, and a brother-in-law, Manny Miller.
