Linda’s life began Dec. 22, 1944, in St. Joseph, Michigan. She grew up in the Bainbridge Township and Blue Creek area, and attended Eau Claire High School. On July 14, 1962, she married Jimmy Boswell and they enjoyed 38 years together. She loved working in the yard in her flower garden. Her family, mainly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her main focus in life. She cared for family all of her life, from the time she could care for her younger siblings, her married life, and until before she got dementia. She was a caregiver to many.

Linda leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory including: three daughters, Cynthia (Richard) Sawyer, Melinda Boswell, and Kimberly (Timothy Willbur) Boswell; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon) MacKeller, Aaron (Sydney) Sawyer, Raven Ellis, Alexandria Ellis, Keanna Wright, Glen White, Laura White, and Gavin White; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael (Linda Gallert) Conkin; a sister, Lula Poe; many nieces and nephews; and her pet kitty Shadow.

Linda died Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Hanson Hospice Center. She is preceded in death by: her husband Jimmy, granddaughter Sara Sawyer; great-granddaughter Myla Ellis; parents Oskar and Maggie Conkin; a sister Patricia; and brothers Leo, Marion, George, Donald, and Shirley.

Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet with visitation prior starting at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores.
