KEVIN WALDROP


Kevin J. Waldrop, 39, of Hartford, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 as the result of an auto accident.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 16 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation with the family will begin at 6 p.m. Those wishing to share a memory or leave a message for the family online may do so at www.duffieldpastrick.com.

Kevin was born July 29, 1983 in Monroe, Michigan. He had worked in automotive sales for the past fifteen years, initially with the Brookfield dealership and most recently at Vicksburg Chrysler. He actually met his wife Sally while working at the dealership; the couple later married on Oct. 24, 2020. Kevin also worked as a recovery coach helping those with various addictions lead a better life.

He was continually trying to better himself and was currently a psychology student at Lake Michigan College where he had made both the Dean’s and President’s lists. Kevin was a fun-loving person who enjoyed interacting with others. He loved being outdoors and particularly enjoyed both rock and mushroom hunting. Kevin was also a self-proclaimed cornhole, euchre, and BBQ King.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Sally; children, Blake Waldrop, Paige Waldrop, and Kevin Waldrop Jr.; his stepdaughter, Brooklyn Smith; his mother, Kim Waldrop and stepfather, Thomas Billings; his father, Terry Lindquist; his grandmother, Frances Waldrop; his brother, Thomas (Kiirsta) Billings; two stepbrothers, Stanley Billings and Jerry Billings; his Uncle Kevin and Aunt Sheila Waldrop; his Aunt Pamela Falkiewicz; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Kevin was preceded in death by his son, Adrian Chiquito.
