Jackie Dale “Jack” Durham, 76, of Simcoe, Ontario, Canada, formerly of Coloma, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife.
Jack loved his wife, family, and friends. He also had a major love for softball and baseball. No doubt those who were around during the “Spinks Corners” days will never forget him. Jack was a proud member of the Iron Workers Local 340 of Battle Creek.
Jack lost the love of his life, Wanda Jean (Lewis) Durham in 1991. However, he was blessed again with his current wife Janet (Hill) Durham. Jack is also survived by his brother Larry Durham of Newnan, Georgia, and two sons, Dana “Matt” and Brian Durham, both from Michigan. He also leaves behind a granddaughter, Gwenyth Durham, nieces; Amy and Brooke. As well as many close family and friends from Canada.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Bill; his in-laws, Benny and Janelle Lewis; brothers-in-law Ron Lewis and Marvin Hill (Marlene); and a nephew, Sean Lewis.
Private interment of ashes has already taken place.
