The Hartford School Board met Monday, Nov. 22 for its monthly business session, but only one item on the agenda carried the weight to attract an audience, as Board President Mike Banic called the roll call vote. The board voted 6-1 to “respectfully retire the Hartford Indian name and imagery effective at the end of the current 2021-22 school year.”
