Hartford’s Board of Education makes plans for renovations this summer; receives appreciation for their service

The Jan. 20, 2025 Business Meeting for the Hartford Public School’s Board of Education had news of projects planned to improve the district with construction starting in the summer.

As previously reported, Superintendent Nick Blackmer informed the board that the district has hired a district nurse.

Cathy Lancaster, who is coming from Paw Paw Public Schools, has an impressive 20-plus years of experience as a school nurse, spending a great deal of that time in the Bangor school system. She will be starting at HPS on January 27.
