Hartford defeats Coloma, 54-49; wins first District title since 2004

When thinking of Coloma and Hartford, many reminisce on the twenty-one times that the two schools have met on the football field. But, last week, the Comets and the Huskies met on the basketball court, with a “mitten-shaped” district championship trophy on the line.

SHARE OF CONFERENCE TITLE… The Hartford varsity boys basketball team hosted Bloomingdale on Friday, Feb. 21, for a conference game, with the Huskies needing a win to secure a share of the Southwest 10 Conference crown, and they got it done with a victory, 67-51.
