Her favorite hobby was painting, even becoming a Bob Ross Painting Instructor and certified artist. Her paintings won her several ribbons at the Berrien County Youth Fair. Gerry had a love for travel and enjoyed visiting Hawaii, Europe and wherever she could go to take a Bob Ross painting course.

Gerry leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory including: five children, Beverly (Herbert) Fairbanks, Thomas (Connie) Frazier, Richard (Carol) Frazier, David (Sheri) Frazier, and Michael (Dorothy) Frazier; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three siblings, Delores-Jean Gauthier, Marion Martin, and Georgia (Richard) Coone; and many nieces and nephews.
