Elaine Miller, age 70, formerly of Hartford, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at The Oaks at Byron Center, Byron Center, Michigan after a long illness. She was born on Jan. 22, 1954 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Maurice “Maurie” and Delores (VanDrasek) Miller.
Elaine was a 1972 graduate of Hartford High School and a graduate of The Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music. She worked as a shipping expeditor at Belwith Keeler Decor Suppliers for 34 years. In her free time, Elaine enjoyed crocheting, playing electronic games and loving her fur babies.
Elaine is survived by her mother, Delores (VanDrasek) Miller; her two sisters, Vickie (Howard) Weatherwax of Sandusky, OH and Denise (Scott) Smith of Hartford; along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death is her father Maurice “Maurie” Miller.
Memorial donations may be made to your local humane society.
A graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford at a later date.
