Eleven match victories secures Coloma victory in rivalry wrestling dual with Watervliet

Recently we covered the matchups on the basketball court when Coloma and Watervliet hooked horns, continuing the long-standing “Red Arrow” rivalry. Last week these two schools came together once more; this time, it would be to decide who was superior on the wrestling mat.

Unlike the basketball games, which came down to the closing minutes, the wrestling dual between the two was never expected to be close, as the Comets feature a near-complete roster, while the Panthers are still trying to get to full strength. As a result, Coloma stormed into the opposing gymnasium, taking home the victory over their biggest rivals, 62-17.
