Church, The River, in Watervliet welcomes Mark and Kristy Kiser to be lead pastors

WELCOME… Mark and Kristy Kiser, the new pastors of The River church in Watervliet, started their roles earlier this month. The Kisers both have a Bachelor of Theology from the International School of Ministry. Mark also obtained an Associate in Church Leadership from the Network of Related Pastors School of Ministry and Kristy is working on her master’s degree in Christian counseling. The pair has 13 children and two grandchildren. Kristy currently home schools eight of the children while Mark works at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant employed by Holtec as an Instrument and Control Technician. (Contributed photo)

Local church, The River, at 8712 Red Arrow Hwy., Watervliet, is announcing the appointment of their new pastors, Mark and Kristy Kiser. Though the couple has been faithful and loyal in serving the congregation for over 16 years in many different capacities, the last two years they have served as Associate Pastors. As of Jan. 5, 2025, they begin their newest pastoral roll.
