Chad Monte Cobb, 56, of Watervliet died Friday, Aug. 19, 2022 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor after a long hard fight after his liver transplant.
Services celebrating his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the New Apostolic Church on Paw Paw Avenue in Coloma. The visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Apostolic Church. Cremation will follow the service. Arrangements are by the Davidson Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Coloma. Chad was born on April 25, 1966 in Benton Harbor to Guy and Jacqulyn Cobb. He was a customer service representative in the Call Center for Whirlpool Corp for over 15 years. Before working for Whirlpool he was employed as the office manager for Spitale Heating and Air Conditioning. Chad loved animals especially his cats, Zorro and Ebony. He was a dedicated hard worker and a very intellectual individual. Chad was outgoing, witty and funny. Along with being giving and caring for other people.
His family includes his father, Guy, of Coloma; his brother, Shawn Cobb, of Hartford; his sister, Tracy Spitale of Coloma; his nieces and nephews, Joshua Cobb, Sharon Casper, Christopher Spitale, and Bridgette Cobb; and his eight great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqulyn, in 2016.
