The public is invited to attend the 2025 Cloverleaf Spelling Competition being held at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center, 2755 E. Napier Ave. in Benton Harbor on Tuesday, Feb. 25, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until the winner is decided. In case of inclement weather: Cancellation information will be posted on Berrien RESA’s website, www.berrienresa.org the morning of the event.
The 2025 Cloverleaf Spelling Competition is open to Berrien, Cass and Van Buren counties public and parochial school districts’ top three school spellers. Students will compete for numerous cash prizes with the top prize being paid admission to the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee held in Washington, D.C. in the spring.
The event is sponsored by Berrien RESA, the Herald Palladium, Lake Michigan College and the Hagen Meemic Insurance Agency. Co-sponsors include Honor Credit Union, Pizza Hut of Michigan, the Sugarman Family, Encyclopedia Britannica, Hexco Academic and Merriam-Webster.
