The opening week of action in the Tri-City Record’s Armchair Quarterback contest has been contested. Tradition was continued of challenging these knowledgeable “superfans” over some tough choices on the gridiron, as the panel attempted to pick the winner of five local high school and five collegiate football games that dotted the week one calendar. All six passed their first exam of the season, as they finished with records that featured more victories than defeats!
