
ROBERT DAVIS Bob was born on Jan. 28, 1937, to George and Gladys Davis in Coloma, MI. He grew up in Watervliet where he attended school and lettered in football, basketball and baseball in high school. He was a starter for the 1954 basketball team that played in the state semi-finals. Bob’s love of playing sports never ended. He was an avid bowler and was part owner and manager of Coloma Lanes. In 1995 he was inducted into the Blossomland Men’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame. In his retirement Bob enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and gardening. Bob’s greatest joy came in spending time with his loving family which includes his high school sweetheart and wife of 64 year, Alora (Howard) Davis; two sons, Keith (Uma) Davis of Indiana and Kenneth (Patcharin) Davis of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Jonathon Davis, Sarah Davis, Joshua Davis, Kyle Davis, Kevin Davis, and Stephanie (Huff) Blocker; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Bob died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, at Spectrum Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph after a brief illness. A son Kevin Davis, parents George and Gladys (Disbrow) Davis, and a sister Rose Marie Richardson precede Bob in death. PAMELA E. CRAWLEY Pamela E. Crawley, 69, of Watervliet, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph after a brief illness. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date when all the family members and friends can gather together. Pam was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on March 7, 1951 to William and Geraldine Semand. She was a graduate of Coloma High School. Pam worked at several companies over the years, including Clark Equipment Company and Sears. Most recently she was employed as a greeter at the Stevensville Meijer store. Pam was a cat lover and enjoyed listening to country music. She and her husband Bill enjoyed spending time together and would visit local flea markets and rummages searching for ceramic figurines of small animals and angels to add to her collection.
Pam is survived by her husband Bill; daughter Crystal (William) Schutz of Glendale, AZ; son Curt Tingue of Battle Creek, MI; four sisters, Shirley (Ron) Stavinga of Hinsdale, IL; Therese Wake of Phoenix, AZ; Shelly (Jim) Vincent of Sydney, Australia, and Janis (Clay) Greiffendorf of South Haven, MI; two step-sisters, Susan Banks and Nancy Scott of Frankfort, KY; one step-brother, Kenneth Jackson; four grandchildren, Leanna Schutz, James Schutz, Alexis Tingue, and Mercedes Tingue; and three great-grandchildren, Mila, Madison and Elijah. Pam was preceded in death by her parents.

SUSAN “SUSIE” CABLE Susan “Susie” Cable, 73, of Watervliet, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at Lakeland Hospital in Watervliet. Susie was born on Dec. 28, 1946 in Blue Island, IL to Paul and Corinne Smith. She married her beloved husband, Kenneth Cable, on August 6, 1964 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 1993. Together they celebrated 29 years of marriage. Susie was a homemaker and also was employed as an aid assisting seniors. She had a caring and kind heart and was known for her patience. She enjoyed bird, karaoke, dancing, and Christmas time. Susie loved being with her family.
Her family includes her children, Randy (Gina) Cable of Chula Vista, CA, Billy Cable of Watervliet, and Shannon (Will) Renbarger of Eau Claire; her grandchildren Ashlee, Jake, Shelby, Nikki, and Landon and her great-grandchildren, Aleeah, Aubrey, Natalie, Olivia, and Nevaeh. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Chandra Gould. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

MARY L. MANNING Mary L. Manning, 86, of Coloma, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, Dec. 6, 2020. On Feb. 10, 1934 in Gordonville, TN, Hoy and Bertha Jackson welcomed to their family their baby girl whom they named Mary Louse Jackson. Nineteen years later Mary and D.D. Manning were joined in holy matrimony on June 28, 1953. Together the couple raised their family of three sons and two daughters. Mary enjoyed sewing and knitting but her favorite times were spent talking to family members on her phone. She was faithful in her church attendance and enjoyed her church family. In 2014 she and husband moved to the Coloma area. Mary is survived by her children, Mark (Becky) Manning of Coloma, Karen (Dell) Bowers of Defiance, Ohio, Jennifer (Gary) Robinson of North Olmsted, Ohio, Tim Manning of Milford Center, Ohio, and Sam (Deliana) Manning of Marshall, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband D.D. Manning on Sept. 17, 2016.
WILLIAM QUEEN Bill’s life began May 29, 1966, in Watervliet. He was a lifetime area resident. He worked for various factories in the area and was also a gifted cook and shared his talents with Jazmine’s Restaurant in Watervliet. Bill enjoyed playing dominos, shooting pool and trying his luck at Texas Hold’em. However his favorite pastime was going fishing with his buddy every chance he got. Bill died unexpectedly Dec. 1, 2020. He leaves behind his wife Julia Queen, three siblings James Russell, Michelle Russell, and Christy (James Martin) Russell, and several nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
