10-0 week earns top AQB honors back for RoxAnn Rodney-Isbrecht

In the sixth week of action for the Tri-City Record Armchair Quarterback contest our knowledgeable “superfans” attempted to pick the winner of three local high school, four collegiate and three professional football games that dotted the calendar. In terms of their final records, all six of our accomplished panelists passed the weekly exam, including, for a second straight week, one who decided that they wanted to be a step above the class, and record a perfect score!

Starting with recapping games from week six, in local high school football contests, all three of our Tri-City teams were on the road. One team secured a victory, while the other two, well, struggled to score. In terms of final scores, Coloma (2-4) trailed, 6-0, in the first quarter, but rallied to score the final 44 points at Delton Kellogg, as they secured their first win of the conference season, 44-6. Meanwhile, both Hartford (2-4) and Watervliet (1-5) had nights to forget, as both were shut out; the Huskies were soundly defeated at White Pigeon, 66-0, while the Panthers made a road trip to South Haven, where they were on the losing end of a 43-0 decision.
