“Kute Kids”… THIS KUTE KID is... 4 year old Eli Knight Stantz of Hartford. His mother is Devon Stantz and father is De'rron Thomas. Grandparents are Louie Stantz of Benton Harbor and the late Billy Horn, as well as Denny and Marinda Schultz of Niles. Proud aunts include Tena Schultz of Hartford, Morgan and Courtney Stantz of Watervliet. As well as a proud uncle Braylon Schultz of Niles. Share a photo of your “Kute Kids” with your friends, neighbors, and relatives who read the Tri-City Record. Make sure you write your kids’ names on the back of the picture and include any other information about it you’d like to see in the paper, including mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and so on. Hunter/Archery Safety Education Course

The Coloma Rod and Gun Club is offering  Hunter Safety and Archery Certification classes, August 22-27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Range Time is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 NOON. For more information please call Larry Lute at 269-208-5095 or 269-463-3416. Club address is 6145 Angling Road, Coloma.

Pickleball

Open play Monday, Tuesday, And Thursdays, 7-9:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic School in Watervliet.  Three courts with one court designated for beginners.  Equipment is available.  Air conditioned gym.  No charge but free will donations accepted.

 

Jackson College names local student to Dean’s List

 Local student Darbie Jones of Watervliet was named to the Dean’s List at Jackson College.

 

WHS class of 1970 gathering August 20

 The WHS class of 1970 will be having their first annual get-together on Saturday, August 20, beginning at 6 o’clock p.m. at Hawgsville Saloon in Watervliet.  This is also the same day as the Watervliet 40 Year Club all class reunion, which will be held earlier in the day.  Please help spread the word of our 1970 class gathering. We will be accepting a minimum donation for a pizza and salad bar that will be available.

July 17 “ICE CREAM SOCIAL AT VAN BUREN HISTORICAL SOCIETY”. Ice cream social will be held from 2-5 p.m. on July 17, celebrating the historical society’s 60th anniversary.

July 18 – 22 “VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL”. VBS will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in at 66325 M-152, Sister Lakes from 9:30-11:50 a.m.

July 26 at 6 p.m. “BERRIEN COUNTY SHRINE CLUB ANNUAL SAUSAGE AND CORN ROAST”. Tuesday, July 26 at the Berrien County Shrine Club at 2985 E. Linco Road in Berrien Springs.

Paw Paw St. and West Street Station, 210 N. Paw Paw St. The deadline is August 3 and must be turned into Coloma City Hall by 4 p.m.
